Enter your key
Paste the license key from your payment confirmation email and select Validate.

Grant permission
Allow Keybit under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Input Monitoring.

Where do I find my license key?
Dodo Payments emails your license key after a successful $4.99 purchase. Paste that key into Keybit’s first-launch window and select Validate.
How do I grant Input Monitoring access?
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Input Monitoring, enable Keybit, then reopen the app. This permission lets Keybit react to key presses across macOS.
Why does Keybit need Input Monitoring?
macOS requires this permission for Keybit to hear that a key was pressed and play the matching sound. Keybit does not save your keys, read what you type, or send keystrokes anywhere.
Where is Keybit after I open it?
Keybit is a menu bar app, so it does not stay in the Dock. Look for the Keybit icon at the top-right of your screen and click it to open the controls.
What should I check if there is no sound?
Confirm Keybit is On, raise Output level, and check that Input Monitoring is enabled. If permission was just granted, quit Keybit and open it again.
Can I use my license again after reinstalling?
Yes. Keep the license email and enter the same key after reinstalling. If Keybit still has its saved activation, it will recognize it automatically.
